HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A home was severely damaged after a fire on the 600 block of Evergreen Park Drive in Hopkinsville early Sunday morning.
Firefighters from three stations arrived within minutes to find fire coming from the back of the home around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, according to Hopkinsville Fire Department. Three occupants were able to safely evacuate and escape without any injuries.
“The home suffered significant damage throughout,” said Payton Rogers, HFD spokesperson. “The fire quickly travelled from the outside, into the attic of the home. It is currently unsafe and unlivable.”
Hopkinsville Fire Department and Hopkinsville Police are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
