HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This weekend catch Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat play, watch live performances from Skillet and Ginuwine, satisfy your taste buds with local food trucks and find treasures at a community yard sale!

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: Enjoy the play and musical of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat live at the Alhambra Theatre, 507 South Main Street. Performances are from Thursday, Aug. 8, to Sunday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $20 to $25.

Skillet: Ready to rock out? Come see rock band Skillet at the one and only Moonshine Amphitheater at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, 777 Winners Way. The performance is on Friday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $29 to $89.

Taste of the Town:  Join Hopkinsville Brewing Co., 102 East Fifth Street, for their fourth annual Taste of the Town event and dessert rally. Black owned food and dessert vendors will be highlighted throughout the event to celebrate the Eighth of August. The fun begins on Saturday, Aug. 10, from noon to 4 p.m.

Ginuwine: Well, the “Pony” hit artist will be at the one and only Moonshine Amphitheater, 777 Winners Way at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $29-$99.

Oak Grove Community Center Community Yard Sale: The yard sale starts on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 9 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m. Then, it continues on Sunday Aug. 11. The event will take place outdoors at the community center, 1705 Thompsonville Lane. The event promises to be a dream for yard sale enthusiasts.
