Local Author Round Up: The Book and Bottle Shop in downtown Hopkinsville is hosting local authors for readings, discussion, and a book signing on Saturday, March 15. With five local authors in a variety of genres and age ranges, there is sure to be something for everyone. Each author will give a short reading from their books and speak on their experience of publishing. The event will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., readings and discussion will take place at noon at 123 East Ninth Street.
9 to 5 The Musical: Campanile Productions is looking forward to performing 9 to 5, The Musical on March 13-16 at The Alhambra Theatre in Hopkinsville. With music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s. this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.
Adult Take and Make Macrame: This month the Hopkinsville-Christian County Library is giving adults the opportunity to try their hand at macrame! Come by the library and grab your very own free kit March 15. Kits will be available while supplies last located just inside the front door. For more information, call 270-887-4262.
