HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A Flood Warning placed by the National Weather Service in Paducah has been extended through Wednesday night, expiring at 9 p.m.
With shower and possible storms predicted for late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, Hopkinsville and Christian County is facing a marginal risk of severe weather.

According to NWS, lightning, large hail, and strong winds may accompany storms with the forecast showing a 60% chance of precipitation. The additional rain comes as the area recovers from nearly 14 inches of continuous rainfall that caused extreme flooding in Christian County.
