HOPKINSVILLE, KY – In response to the recent flooding across Christian County, community partners will host two Flood Recovery Resource Events on Saturday, April 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
These events are open to all flood survivors and will offer valuable information, cleaning supplies, and a free community lunch.
Event Locations:
- Christian County Justice Center Parking Lot, 100 Justice Way, Hopkinsville
- Oak Grove Community Center, 1705 Thompsonville Lane, Oak Grove
Flood survivors are encouraged to attend and:
- Receive recovery information related to housing, food, and clean-up assistance
- Pick up available cleaning supplies
- Learn about local and state recovery resources
- Enjoy a free hot meal provided by community volunteers

In addition to the resource fair, community volunteers are invited to gather at the Christian County Justice Center beginning at 8:00 AM to help clean up flood-affected neighborhoods. Volunteers will be assigned to areas in need of physical assistance with debris and cleanup.
This effort is part of a coordinated response to ensure residents impacted by flooding have access to the information and support they need during recovery.
