HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Emergency dispatch in Christian County has reported an accident on Interstate 169 (Pennyrile Parkway) Thursday morning that is blocking traffic.
Around 8 a.m., a semi-truck overturned in a northbound lane near Exit 23 heading into Crofton. No injuries have been reported as a result of the accident.
The exit is blocked until the wreck can be cleared. According to KYTC, motorists needing to reach Crofton during the closure can take U.S. 41 north from Hopkinsville, or continue north on I-169, then take Exit 33 to U.S. 62 in Nortonville, then follow U.S. 41 south.
