HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Alhambra has been transformed into an exclusive boutique for Artfully Yours: A Resale Affair, with all proceeds benefiting the Pennyroyal Arts Council.
Starting on Aug. 4, patrons can come and shop through hundreds of designer fashion items, jewelry, original art, home decor and more spread throughout the theater. Staff have spent the past week curating displays around the theater, with all of the high-quality items for sale having been donated by local supporters.
“This is your chance to shop with purpose on stage and throughout the theatre while supporting the arts in our community,” said a statement from the Pennyroyal Arts Council.
Opening night of Artfully Yours on Aug. 4 will be a fun, ticketed event, where shoppers will have first access to the store and be served a cocktail and appetizers. After opening night, people can walk through and shop until Aug. 14, Tuesday through Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or by appointment.
Money raised during the sale will support the continuing mission of the Pennyroyal Arts Council, the non-profit that manages the historic Alhambra Theater downtown. The non-profit is dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of Hopkinsville and the surrounding region by encouraging, developing, and promoting the appreciation of the arts through education, support, service, and presentation.
