CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The visit by President Donald Trump for his midterm rally is expected to bring a big crowd to downtown Clarksville, across the state line from Christian County.
Here’s “know before you go” information from F&M Bank Arena, which emphasizes that guests should plan for additional time for parking, traffic, security screening and entry.
Timing and event entry
The entrance will be at Second and College Street only, and doors open at 11 a.m. The event starts at 1 p.m., with Trump expected to speak at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available online here.
Note that RSVP ticket confirmation does not guarantee entry to the event. Entry will be first-come, first-served and subject to venue capacity.
Concessions will be open until programming starts at 1 p.m. Once programming begins, only water will be available for purchase.
Road closures, parking for Trump rally
Guests should be prepared for significant traffic impacts downtown, and the Clarksville Police Department has issued a traffic advisory for Saturday.
The roadways immediately surrounding F&M Bank Arena will be closed, including Strawberry Alley, and vehicles will not be permitted past designated barriers.

Guests should plan for alternate parking options, allow additional travel time and be prepared to park farther from the arena and walk to the venue.
The following parking areas will be closed:
- Streets directly connected to F&M Bank Arena — Closed in both directions
- Millan Parking Garage, 90 College St. — Closed
- Austin Peay State University Lots 25, 26 and 30 — Closed
- DoubleTree Hotel parking lot — Closed
Parking will be available at two city parking garages that are two blocks away: at Second and Commerce, and at First and Commerce. To find other parking opportunities, visit the F&M Bank Arena website.
The closest drop-off location for guests needing ADA assistance is across from Shelby’s Trio at 303 College St.
Bag policy, prohibited items for Trump rally
