HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – There are so many fun activities and events for families in Christian County to enjoy this summer weekend.   • Details: Splash Day at Christian Way Farm will feature a full day of family-friendly water fun, including a giant water slide, bubble stations and kiddie pools. Guests can also enjoy the farm’s regular activities such as feeding and petting animals, riding the lawnmower train, playing in the corn truck and exploring outdoor play areas.

Jason Montgomery & Friends concert

  • Where: The Silo in Hopkinsville
  • When: July 10, 7 p.m.
  • Cost: $20 per car
  • Details: Jason Montgomery & Friends will perform in concert at The Silo. Gates open at 6 p.m., and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for the outdoor show. Food trucks will be on-site, with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages available for purchase. In the event of rain, the concert will move indoors.

Hopkinsville Cars and Coffee

  • Where: Near 7 Brew in Hopkinsville
  • When: July 11, 9 a.m. to noon
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Hopkinsville Cars and Coffee is a monthly community gathering for automotive enthusiasts. The family-friendly event welcomes all types of vehicles, including classics, muscle cars, imports, trucks, motorcycles and project cars. Attendees can view vehicles, meet fellow enthusiasts and enjoy a relaxed morning. No registration is required.

Christmas in July

  • Where: Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex in Hopkinsville

  • Cost: Free admission
  • Details: The Sportsplex will host its Christmas in July Craft & Vendor Fair featuring local vendors, handmade items, and sweet treats. The family-friendly event offers shoppers a chance to support local businesses while enjoying a festive summer celebration.

Tall Tales, Tiny Heroes Puppet Show

  • Details: The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library will present Tall Tales, Tiny Heroes, a family-friendly puppet show featuring humorous retellings of classic stories, including The Ugly Duckling, The Tiger and the Mouse and Rumpelstiltskin. The interactive performance also includes sing-alongs and comedy designed for children and families.

Back 2 Back Foundation Presents: Brice Long and Friends Concert

  • Where: Alhambra Theatre in Hopkinsville

  • Details: The Back2Back Foundation will host its 21st annual Brice Long and Friends Concert, featuring Brice Long, Tony Arata, Deric Ruttan and Casey James. The annual fundraiser supports charitable efforts in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties and has raised more than $1.2 million for local communities since its inception.
